Background
Midwest ->NYC->Dallas
I grew up in the small town of Columbia, Illinois and went to Nerinx Hall High School in St. Louis, known for empowering women. I went to Indiana University for undergrad and then moved to Cincinnati, OH to start my 12-year career at L’Oreal in Finance. After 2 years, I moved into product development in NYC and then back to finance still in NYC. After 8 years in the city, I moved to Dallas staying with L’Oreal in commercial finance. In 2022, I started a new endeavor as a fractional CFO for Stage 1 Financial serving early stage clients most of which were in the beauty industry.
Evolution
I was hopeful that my move to Dallas would allow for some relief from the intensities of life in NYC. On the contrary, this period began amidst a unique set of challenges of establishing a new life in an unfamiliar city during a global pandemic, further intensified by starting a family. It was a time of immense growth that redefined my perspective. Today, KC Solutions is the result of that personal journey merged with 15 years of professional expertise.
Mission & Vision
I've learned firsthand that the complexities of moving through life's challenging new stages are universal. This insight drives KC Solutions, where our mission is to proactively empower women through these transitions be it becoming new mothers, making career shifts, embarking on entrepreneurial ventures, or optimization and growth within established businesses. We are here to generate opportunities, create space, and enhance networks for women.
