What’s a favorite
things party?

A social gathering where guests bring their favorite items and share why they love the items they brought. For the Mater Maria party, the SMS hosts will pamper each of the expecting and new mothers with brunch, games, and finally a basket of favorite items

When?

Sunday December 21, 2025 from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

Why?

The transformative journey through pregnancy and postpartum presents unanticipated challenges for all women. This opportunity allows mothers within the community to share the wealth of their knowledge, experience, and emotional support with the mothers of Mater Maria who continue to persevere on their journey through motherhood during the Christmas Season.

Who?

We are looking for moms who enjoy connecting with other moms and are looking for a way to give back during the holidays

How?

Step 1.) Send in your interest level using the form below.

Step 2.) We will follow up with you to confirm your level of involvement for the event.

Step 3.) The committee will be announced on Tuesday Dec 9 along with the details for planning meetings.

Host Benefits

Meeting the Mater Maria Mothers and sharing in their joy during the celebration
Childcare during event for kids ages 0-13 during event
Connecting with other moms

Host Responsibilities

Underwriting support
2 30-minute virtual meetings
Approx. 1 hour of volunteer work prior to event
Event attendance & production from 9am - 2 pm

Committee Opportunities

Option for underwriting support
Virtual & in person party planning sessions
Collection and donation of non-event items
Event contributions (ie plating, decor, etc)
